I joined a Bunco group about a year ago and each month one of the twelve women have to host it. Last Friday was my turn. If you aren’t familiar with Bunco, it’s a dice game, really simple, actually, but you play and eat and basically socialize for a couple hours.
So we each pay a certain amount of money and then that money goes towards the prizes at the end. Some hosts buy gifts, while others just split the money and hand it out. I went for the Starbucks cards and made these cute gift card holders. I bought the file for 99 cents! You can’t beat that right?
The files cut really nice and go together easily. The only thing I had to do was convert the score lines to dashed lines, but that was easy peasy lemon squeezy so not a big deal at all.
I used a tag from lettering delights simple tags sag set to do a quick print and cut on the tags and used the little piece from the gift card purse as a little accent.
I used double-sided paper, but I don’t think you necessarily need to. I made a mistake on the red one, but I just cut a piece of paper the same size and glued it over and no problemo.
And this is what it looked like when you opened it up. I used the cropodile thingie to put the brads and the handles on. I always get excited when I finally have an opportunity to use that thing.
At Starbucks, they asked me if I wanted envelopes for the gift cards and I said no thanks I was making my own. The guy looked at me strangely, but it’s all good. I’m used to being looked at strangely.
I cut the purses with the KNK Maxx and used the Cameo to do the print and cut tags. I am getting ready to attempt PNC with the Zing, but haven’t had the chance to give it a try and was on a time crunch Friday.
